Guided Tours

The Cliffs of Fundy Geopark is excited to be offering a free guided tour series this summer! Our tours will visit three unique locations within the Geopark:

  • Thomas Cove in Upper Economy: Watch the Highest Tides in the world wash over an ancient desert!
  • Ward Falls in Diligent River: Walk back in time! From the age of glaciers, to the Appalachians!
  • Cape Chignecto at West Advocate: Experience Two Worlds at the Western Edge of the Geopark!

Tour Dates:

Wednesday, July 28 – Thomas Cove
Wednesday, August 4 – West Advocate
Wednesday, August 11 – West Advocate
Wednesday, August 18 – Ward falls
Wednesday, August 25 – Thomas Cove
Wednesday, September 1 – Ward Falls

* All of our Wednesday guided tours will start at 10:30 am at the respective tour site *

What is a Geopark?

A Geopark is a designation that attracts tourists wishing to explore the connections between geology, local communities, culture, and nature. Geoparks are designed to promote tourism and celebrate a region’s uniqueness, and do not prohibit any land use.
